Misha Kostin
Chair
Misha is a sophomore at Clark University, studying Economics and Business Data Analytics. He was born and raised in Ukraine until he moved to the United States four years ago. Today, Misha calls home both the Ukrainian city of Odesa and the state of Maryland. Joining the Model UN club during his first semester in college, Misha found where his passions for world research, knowledge exchange, and meaningful debate all work together in tandem. Misha's favourite thing about being a part of the club is working in a team, both at home and at the conferences. He believes that only through inclusive, equitable, and collaborative work will the best solution be found. This year, Misha is also a member of the Executive Board for Model UN at Clark, serving as Treasurer, overseeing all the finances and budgeting for the team. Moreover, Misha participates in the Clark Undergraduate Student Council as an International Student Representative, advocating for the needs of Clark's international community across campus. Following his own beliefs, Misha demonstrates that being a successful leader means being both team-oriented and proactive in the spaces one commits to, and that is exactly what Misha expects from the delegates attending ClarkMUN XVI. Misha is passionately looking forward to greeting all the incoming students on Clark's Campus and wishes all the best of luck in the meantime!
